Advantage:

(2) The opening height is generally only l / 4 of the diameter of the valve seat passageway and is therefore much smaller than the gate valve.
(3) Usually there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and the valve flap, so the manufacturing technology is relatively good and easy to maintain. However, the shortcomings of the globe valve can not be ignored. The main drawback is the large flow resistance coefficient, resulting in pressure loss, especially in hydraulic devices, this pressure loss is particularly evident.
